How to run a marketing approval workflow with Grok Bot

Use Grok Bot to research topics, draft branded content and deliver an approval queue without allowing unsupported claims or automatic publishing.

Short answerGive Grok Bot approved business sources, brand rules and a defined content brief. It should research, cite, draft and place assets in a review queue. Claims, images, offers and publication remain with the human marketing owner.

The job is a production line

Useful content automation has separate stages: source collection, angle selection, drafting, design instructions, review and publication. One broad “make content” prompt hides where facts changed and who approved the claim.

What the business provides

  • Product, service and policy sources the Bot may treat as current
  • Brand voice, visual rules and forbidden claims
  • Customer questions, sales notes and performance data
  • Target channel, format and publishing cadence
  • A marketing owner who approves every public asset

The approval packet

Stage Deliverable
Research Source list with date, claim and direct link
Angle Audience problem, business relevance and proof available
Draft Channel-ready copy with claims tied to sources
Design Format, hierarchy, visual brief and required assets
Review Claim checklist, unresolved facts and named approver
Publish Human action after approval; excluded from the first routine

Copyable first-task brief

Using only the approved business sources and current public references, prepare three content candidates for the named channel. For each, include the customer problem, angle, source links, draft, design brief, claim checklist and unresolved questions. Do not invent customer results, statistics, quotes, pricing or features. Do not publish, schedule or send. Stop after the approval queue is written.

Route approval to the right place

Slack is usually the cleanest team review surface. A solo owner may prefer email or a task tool. WhatsApp can carry a short approval notification, but the full evidence and editable draft should live in a business-owned system rather than a disappearing chat thread.

Prove the failure case

Include a source with an old price or a claim that lacks evidence. The Bot must flag it instead of smoothing over the gap. After three accurate supervised runs, schedule research and drafting; keep publishing manual until the business has a separate, tested release procedure.

Measure the result

Track research time, drafts approved without factual correction, rejected claims and time from brief to approved asset. Volume without approval quality is not the result.
