Login & access
- Grok Bot can't log into Shopify — Grok Bot's cloud browser stalls on a Cloudflare challenge at the Shopify admin login.
- Grok Bot stuck in a QuickBooks 2FA loop — The Bot signs into QuickBooks Online, gets a 2FA prompt, and can't complete it.
- Grok Bot LinkedIn session expired or restricted — LinkedIn logs the Bot out, challenges it, or restricts the account.
- Grok Bot blocked by Google Workspace admin consent — The Gmail or Calendar connector fails with an admin-approval or unverified-app error.
- Grok Bot blocked by a Cloudflare or bot-detection challenge — A general answer for every 'Grok Bot can't get past the verification page' case: what the cloud browser looks like to detection, the three access patterns that work, and the one that doesn't.
Cost
- Grok Bot has no spend cap. Build one. — There's no Bot-level spending limit in Grok Bot.
- Grok Bot usage doesn't match the Cursor dashboard — The Grok Bot app says 48% used; the Cursor dashboard says 0%.
- A routine is burning tokens overnight — How to find which routine is spending, pause it in seconds, and rewrite the instruction so it stops when the job is done instead of checking forever.
Security
- Clean up the Grok Bot shared computer — The cloud computer belongs to your account, not to a Bot.
- Give each Bot its own accounts — The single most important setup step: Bot identities.
- Which of your routines can be prompt-injected — Any Bot that reads untrusted text (inboxes, tickets, web pages, documents) can be told to do things by that text.
- Deleted a Bot, but its access is still there — Deleting a Bot doesn't remove sessions, files or connector authorisations from the shared computer.
- A Bot is sending email as me — If a Bot was connected with your Gmail, it sends as you.
Routines
- A routine stopped running — A routine that ran fine last week silently stopped.
- Routine paused for inactivity — Routines that haven't run in a while get paused automatically.
- Approvals piling up — Bots that ask for approval on everything stall your ops; Bots that ask for nothing are dangerous.
- Bots talking in circles — Two Bots hand a task back and forth, each asking the other for clarification.
Access & platform
- Grok Bot isn't available on your plan — Grok Bot access is bundled into Cursor and SuperGrok plans and the eligible list has changed since launch.
- Grok Bot on Linux or Windows — Grok Bot ships as a macOS and iOS app.
- Grok Bot blocked by Legacy Privacy Mode — Grok Bot requires cloud data storage and won't start on Cursor accounts using Legacy Privacy Mode.
