This is Whisker Beacon's independent Grok Bot update log. It is not an official Cursor or xAI changelog. We check official documentation, record product changes that affect business users and correct our guides when the evidence changes.

Integration and comparison corrections
We expanded the WhatsApp guide with the 24-hour reply-window rule, a draft-only example and missing-data checks. We corrected the HubSpot guide: OAuth scopes can allow broader access than the connected user's visible records. Both guides now direct credentials to secure secret entry, not ordinary files.
The Shopify login guide now separates browser verification, token validity, scopes and older-order access using Shopify's authentication guidance. The Buzz comparison now correctly states that Grok Bot's owner can participate in groups, as described in the collaboration documentation.
These are documentation checks and editorial corrections. The sample inputs and expected outputs are illustrative; they do not establish a live integration or customer result.
Free first-workflow worksheet added
The First Grok Bot Workflow Check helps readers choose one job, source, output and reviewer, then test ordinary and missing-information cases. It includes a free download and routes into lead follow-up, inbox triage and quote preparation. Our review method explains how we distinguish documentation checks, examples and tested results.
Availability correction: Windows is supported
Cursor's current Grok Bot documentation lists official Windows x64 and Arm64 desktop apps. We corrected our Windows and Linux availability guide, which previously treated Windows support as unconfirmed. Linux is still absent from the official device list.
Weekly allowance and on-demand usage rechecked
Cursor's plans guide states that eligible access includes weekly usage and that additional work can use the shared Cursor on-demand balance when on-demand usage is enabled. We rebuilt the weekly allowance guide, usage mismatch fix and monitoring routine around the current account settings.
Routine operating limits added to our checks
Cursor's work guide currently says one Bot can have up to 50 routines and keeps the 20 most recent run records for each routine. It also warns that test runs can perform real work. Our routine guides now treat supervised test data and approval boundaries as required setup steps.

High-traffic fixes and comparisons rewritten
We replaced thin summaries with beginner-first procedures for Shopify login problems, Cloudflare challenges, Legacy Privacy Mode, Google Workspace consent, spend controls and the most-read Grok Bot comparisons.
Earlier observations
| Date | Type | Observation |
|---|---|---|
| 27 Aug 2026 | Eligibility | Third-party pricing pages disagreed with the official plan documentation. We kept the account dashboard and official help pages as the verification route. |
| 24 Aug 2026 | Known issue | A reported Cloudflare challenge blocked Shopify admin inside a Bot browser session. See the Shopify login fix. |
| 19 Aug 2026 | Integration | Composio appeared as a connection route for services without a direct plugin. Availability can vary by account and administrator policy. |
| 14 Aug 2026 | Cost control | Bot-level spend controls were not documented. Account-level weekly and on-demand usage remained the relevant controls. |
| 12 Aug 2026 | Metering | Early user reports described different usage readings across views. Our usage mismatch procedure now avoids assuming a cause and records both values for support. |
| 11 Aug 2026 | Launch state | Early availability focused on macOS and iPhone. Current official documentation also lists Windows. |
How we maintain this page
Each update must include a date, a source and the page changed because of it. We recheck these areas every week:
- supported devices and download paths;
- eligible plans, weekly usage and on-demand behavior;
- routine limits and approval controls;
- plugin connection behavior;
- resolved or newly reported setup failures.
We keep old entries when a problem is fixed, label the correction and update the affected guide. If you find an outdated statement, send the page and current evidence.
